Refund policy

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the value of the item is diminished as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function — for example, visible wear, odor, or damage from use — we reserve the right to deduct a corresponding amount from your refund, or to decline the return if the item can no longer be resold as new.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Unauthorized returns will be held for 14 days pending instructions from the sender; if we do not hear back within that time, the item may be returned to sender at the sender's cost or disposed of, at our discretion.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Return shipping & customs
For orders shipped outside the EU (including Norway, UK, and Switzerland), returns must be sent using the shipping label and instructions we provide. If you use your own shipping method or label instead, you are responsible for any customs duties, import fees, or handling charges this may incur — these costs are separate from, and in addition to, the standard return shipping deduction described below. We are unable to reimburse costs arising from returns sent without our provided label or without correct customs documentation.

Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. A flat fee of 250SEK or €25 will be deducted for returns to cover cost of shipping and handling within EU. For Norway, US and the rest of the world, the true cost of return shipping (the actual carrier cost of shipping the item back to us) will be deducted instead of the flat fee. This is separate from, and does not include, any customs duties, import fees, or handling charges described above under "Return shipping & customs."

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at info@ranwald.com.

Governing law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swedish courts, or, for consumer disputes, the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).
